Freedom of Travel
& Circulation
France does not impose any official entry restric-
tions on persons entering the country.
All visitors (other than those carrying a European
passport) travelling to France from overseas, in-
cluding those attending congresses, must hold a
valid passport and some countries need to obtain
a tourist visa.
France has one of the world’s largest diplomatic
network, second only to the network of the United
States.
Organizers will assist delegates with their visa
application letters and requests with a special
on-line tool on the congress website and in ma-
king the congress known throughout the French
embassies and consulates network.
