France does not impose any official entry restric-

tions on persons entering the country.

All visitors (other than those carrying a European

passport) travelling to France from overseas, in-

cluding those attending congresses, must hold a

valid passport and some countries need to obtain

a tourist visa.

France has one of the world’s largest diplomatic

network, second only to the network of the United

States.

Organizers will assist delegates with their visa

application letters and requests with a special

on-line tool on the congress website and in ma-

king the congress known throughout the French

embassies and consulates network.
